The Bread or Stones Campaign, a program of the Louisiana Interchurch Conference, is a Christian collaboration of churches and concerned individuals working together to improve the lives of children in Louisiana. Church members, leaders, and people of good will who are concerned with School Readiness and Student Retention are encouraged to attend a listening post at St. Paul's Episcopal Church located on 275 Southfield Road, Shreveport, LA 71105. The meeting will begin at 10am on Thursday October 26th. We will be addressing:
· Increasing the number of children who enter fourth grade on time and at grade level
· Increasing the rate of students graduating on time
Come voice your concerns and collaborate with others for the good of our children. All are welcome!

The meeting will begin at 6pm on Thursday May 18th. You will be able to hear from and engage with leaders from the Louisiana Department of Health and other health organizations on-
· Reduction of low birth weight babies
· Increasing access to immunizations
· Reduction of childhood obesity and asthma
· Reduction of the number of teen pregnancies
